All you really need to do is to edit the properties of the RDP protocol on the server, by going to Start > All Programs > Administrative Tools > Terminal Services Configuration:

And double click on the "RDP-Tcp" connection protocol, then go to the client settings tab and untick the 'Connect client printers at logon'. It is that easy.
